Cecie was born and raised in New York City where she spent most of her adult life before moving to Long Island where they raised their children. After their children moved to Colorado, Cecie and her husband, Manuel, moved from their lifelong residence of New York, following her desire to help raise their beautiful grandchildren. Cecie’s grandchildren were the center of her life.
Cecie was known for loving big and sharing that love by cooking for everyone! There was always room at the table for anyone who came through the door. The way she cared for her husband would make any man envious! She was a mother who deeply loved her children, which shows in the love her children have for their own children.
Cecie is survived by her loving husband, Manny, her son and daughter-in-law, Manny and Betsy Rodriguez, her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Antonia and Rod Young, and grandchildren, Lauren, Catie, Sarah, and Peter. The forever matriarch will be missed dearly but she will live on through the love of her family and friends.
Cecie will be laid to rest on August 9th, 2019 at 10:00 in the morning at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80236. For those attending her service, please proceed along S Sheridan Boulevard to the North Gate where you will wait in the processional at Staging Area "A".
There will be a reception to follow, celebrating her wonderful life at the Young residence located at 762 Shadowstone Drive in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
