Even though I can't make it to the funeral I want to tell the family how deeply sorry I am for their loss. Dalton was truly an amazing kid and deserved to live a much longer life than he was given.  I'm glad to have known him the little time that I did and want to thank his family for taking me in when I needed it most. I'm here for you guys if you need anything 💕 your other daughter

I have been thinking about you and trying to find a memory in my heart to share, but it was hard to find just one. 
One that popped into my head was when you came to spend the night at my house. We finally started to fall asleep, it was around midnight and you told me you didn’t like the bewitching hour. I asked you why and you told me all of the weird sounds that happened at night kinda freaked you out. We talked about all the sounds and giggled because we could hear Uncle Bryan snoring. You finally fell asleep ❤️.
This was the last picture I took of you. As you can see your arm was around Emily, you always protected her and all your cousins. I know Jesus has his arm around you now, he is protecting you.

Damn Dalton, I just heard the news today and I'm in complete disbelief. I remember always coming over to your parents house and staying up late drawing and just having a good time. You and your family are amazing people and welcomed me in with open arms. I really regret that we didn't hang out as much as we got older. I was just one the phone a couple weeks ago with you trying to plan something and I regret it didn't happen. We had a lot of great times and great memories, too many to put here and Dalton had a laugh that was extremely contagious and you couldn't help but laugh too. I'm gonna miss you Dalton. 

i only knew dalton through his mom. i have known michelle for over 20 years..she has done my nails forever!...and very well i might add, best foot rub after pedi in the world! michelle has lived for her kids, loving them, supporting them, guiding them, teaching them, surviving crisis with them, overcoming adversity with them...she has always referred to them as her babies and i imagine always will. she is a woman who needs your strength and love without jdugment as she has been so hard on herself for so many years...her life without dalton will be a daily struggle but we, her friends will help her take it a step at a time...jill caplan

Dalton, I remember when you were just a tiny guy. I was hold you up above my head and talking to you and loving you and in an instant you threw up and it went right in my mouth!!! Not sure how we went from that to this. I'll never understand... You left far too soon. Aunt Sharon loves you more than you'll ever know.

I remember when Dalton and I were tiny babies and we were riding in the car with my mom on our way to grandmas house and I always messed with him. I took my sucker out of my mouth and rubbed it all over his eyes so they would be stuck shut. I would blow my soy milk breath in his face. I decided to use my own poop when I was a baby like it was lotion and made my brother throw up all over my mom.. God bro I could go on and on.. I miss you so much.. I just wish it was a dream.

To our sweet grandson my heart is broken beyond words. We didn't have enough time with you!  The hurt will never go away we will hold you in our heart until we see you again

Dalt and I have been friends going on 15 years. He was my best friend and always had my back. He taught me how to stand up for myself, and not let people walk over me. His home became mine, and his family became my second family. We slowly grew apart as we got older, but we always had one another’s backs. I’m gonna miss the friend that I considered my brother from another mother more than anything. I know he’s in a better place, and now can watch over us. I love ya brotha, I’ll always be here for Aubs, and your parents. 

Where do I even begin. Dalton was my best friend we did everything together grown up. And what I mean by everything is when we were little and I was learning how to talk Dalton would answer for me . We went to school together . It’s hard to believe that you are gone but until we meet again I will love and miss you everyday . 

My sweet amazing nephew. I love you so much. I miss you every day! Thank you for allowing me to be your aunt!! Rest easy honey til we meet again. ❤❤❤❤
