Della Marie Cole

Della married the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Eugene Lee Cole, in Stockton, Kansas in 1942. The couple had three children.

Della enjoyed sewing, was an avid reader, and loved traveling and camping with her husband before his passing in 2005. A hardworking housewife extraordinaire, she was an excellent cook and made the best baked goods. Della was a caring and ever-loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was known for her sweet friendliness by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Della is preceded in death by her husband; her son-in-law, Eldon "Butch" Miller; her daughter-in-law, Mickie Cole; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Beverly Miller, Howard Cole, and Shryel Cole; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, Colorado 80121, with a Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 pm. Della will be laid to rest at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery, the same day.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Della's name to the American Cancer Society or the cancer research organization of your choosing.
