Dorothy I. "Dottie" Monteith

Dorothy I. "Dottie" Monteith, age 91, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Dorothy was born May 17, 1927 in Walnut, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hugh L. "Monty" Monteith, Jr.; parents, Ella D. (Kobs) and John A. Moore; and sister, Janice Radford. Dottie is survived by her sons, Hugh L. Monteith, III of Elizabeth, CO, Brian J. Monteith of Centennial, CO and Eric (Jolene) Monteith of Elizabeth, CO; grandchildren, Evan Nicole Monteith, Elyssa Ann Monteith and Gavin Russell Monteith, all of Elizabeth, CO; siblings, Don (Mary) Moore of Nevada, IA, Jean Sheridan of Clearwater, FL and Fran Cooper of Atlantic, IA; numerous nieces and nephews, especially her niece, Cynthia Evans, who became the daughter she never had; and other loving family and friends.

A Visitation for Dorothy will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am. A Committal Service will begin in the cemetery at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
