E. Lucille (Maser) McWilliams was born October 17, 1923 and passed away on October 17, 2022. She was born in Sterling, CO, but lived most of her younger years in Greeley, CO. Her parents, George and Matilda Maser immigrated from Germany as children. She had 5 sisters, 4 of whom preceded her in death. Her one surviving sister, Helen Probert, lives in Spokane, WA. She married her high school sweetheart, Wendell McWilliams, and they were married for 54 years before he passed away in 1997. They had one son, Thomas McWilliams. She attended Colorado College {now the University of Northern Colorado} and Adrian Business College in Greeley, CO. She was a talented Mezzo Soprano with classical training. and attended Riverside Baptist Church where she was often a featured soloist in the church choir. She loved opera, playing the piano, listening to spiritual music, and reading her bible.
Besides her sister, Helen, she is survived by her son, Tom, daughter-in -law, Betty Jo, and 3 Grandsons, Jeffrey (Jennifer), James (Malissa), and David (Cynthia), as well as 7 great grandchildren, Genisee, Alexa, Keira, Kylie, Wyatt, Macer, and Deon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
