Edit passed away peacefully in the presence of family on January 17, 2011. She was 83. A therapist, educator, mentor, sister, mother, and wife, Edit was loved by many. She is survived by her husband, Peter Haskell; son Kevin and wife Rosa; son Danny and wife Joan; grandchildren John Kevin, Kathleen, Matthew, and Adam; great-grandson John-John; sisters Mary and Vilma; nephews Luis, Fernando, and Antonio, and niece Vilma, and their children. Her funeral mass will be on Monday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Englewood, Colorado.
