Edmond Dale Pearce, of Englewood, passed away on July 15, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born to Clarence and Emma Pearce in 1920 in Bristol, Colorado and had three sibilings including one brother, who preceeded him in death, and two sisters.
He met Iva Dean Lockwood and they married in 1941 in Boyce City, Oklahoma. They moved to Denver in 1950 and bought their home in Englewood in 1956, living there for 57 years. Edmond was an auto mechanic working for the local Ford dealership for decades. During the Second World War, Edmond served in the Army, and was medically discharged after a short time.
Edmond is preceeded in death by his parents, his brother and his daughter Connie Jean who died at the age of 12 in 1968.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 74 years Iva Dean, his daughter Betty Ruth Green, son-in-law Leon, his grandchildren Rodney (Heather) and Dana (Tim) and a great-grandson Joshua.
Following a funeral service on Thursday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, Edmond will be buried in the adjacent cemetery next to his daughter Connie.
