Eugenie Huegel was born in Poland on October 19, 1930 to Olga and Julius Reinig. At the age of 21, her family immigrated to the United States and she lived in the Denver area for the remainder of her life. Eugenie Huegel worked as a house manager in the Denver area for the Herb Cook and Gloria (Melnick) Cook family. After her retirement, she was also an integral part of helping raise and care for her three grandchildren. Eugenie’s life was dedicated to the care of others in her life.
Eugenie met her future husband while living in Boulder Colorado and they were married on July 14, 1956 and had two children. She was also blessed with three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Eugenie is survived by two children, Tina Huegel and Tim (Gloria) Huegel; three grandchildren, Nick (Nicole) Huegel, Andy (Shayna) Huegel, and Chelsie (Austen) Aaron; five great-grandchildren, Julius Huegel, Evan Huegel, Natalie Huegel, Everly Aaron, and Ember Aaron.
