

Eunice Helen Leopold ended her earthly journey at age 95 on February 13, 2015. She came to Colorado with her husband Glen in 1939 from Nebraska. She was active being a wife, and mother of three. She and her husband of 66 years enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. Eunice enjoyed activities that included flowers, her cabin, and the outdoors. She was a member of St. Philip Lutheran Church, and enjoyed the quilting group.
She resided at The Gardens of Columbine for 12 years before moving to Caley Ridge Assisted Living where she resided for the last 6 months.
Family has always been important to her. She came from a family of 11 children, which included sister Evanda Stoffregen and brother Cleo Banister. She was proud to have seen 5 generations, that included 3 children: Charlene Nauman, Michael (Sharon) Leopold and Lois Carlisle. 6 grandchildren: Cathy Rapp (Anne Buel),Cindy Wells (Frank),Jeff Nauman (Kathy), Mike Nauman (Sheila), Trent Leopold (Lyneita), Paige Wiersma (Doug), 15 great grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death: husband Glen Leopold, twin sister Amy Ellen Brady, sister Detta May Roberts, brothers: Clyde, Walter, Phillip, Orville, Marvin, George Banister, son-in laws Merle Nauman and Richard Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eunice Memorial Garden Fund in care of St. Philip Lutheran Church, 7531 South Kendall, Littleton, CO 80128.
