

Born at home, in Big Spring, Texas on February 21, 1949 to parents Eusebio and Aurora Paredez, she grew up in Big Spring until she met the love of her life. She lived the majority of her life in Aurora, Colorado. As a teenager she spent her summers in the cotton fields of west Texas, helping to support her family. Later working at the Medical Arts Hospital in Big Spring.
She loved playing softball and was quite a competitive bowler. Irene enjoyed arts and crafts, coloring, reading, watching The Johnny Canales Show, and her novelas.
More than anything, she wanted to be a wife and mother, and in that role she found her greatest purpose and joy. She loved her family and spending time with them telling stories and laughing. She embodied quiet strength and boundless love, giving endlessly of herself to her family in ways both seen and unseen.
She faithfully prayed for her family every day, a devotion she carried throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel LeRoy Arellano; daughters Fabrianna Janea Ayala (Franklin José Ayala) and Maria Crista Arellano; grandchildren Lorena Angeles Ayala, Gael Benicio Ayala, and Eusebio Cebrián Telly. As well as her siblings, Eloisa Negrete, Ernestina Garcia, and Bertha Chavez.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eusebio Vasquez Paredez and Aurora Martinez Duron; siblings Aurora Paredez, Eleno Paredez, Esequio Paredez, and Johnny Paredez
Irene will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
A visitation will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121, US, on April 3, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary service from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, Mountain View Room on April 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a memorial reception to follow.
