

Jeffrey H. Klemann, beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, son, and friend, passed away on May 31, 2024, in Lone Tree, Colorado. He was born on February 4, 1955, in Elmhurst, Illinois, to his loving parents, Howard and Jeanne Klemann.
Jeff, as he was affectionately known, was a man who touched the lives of everyone he met. His warm and friendly nature made it easy for him to strike up a conversation with strangers, and he was cherished by all who knew him. Jeff had a zest for life and loved a good time, but above all, he cherished his family deeply.
Jeff's life was filled with joy and passion. He loved spending time with his wife Amy, touring model homes, moving, traveling to Taos, NM, and Crested Butte, CO. Jeff enjoyed fly fishing, hiking, cheering on the Broncos, exploring mountain towns, whale watching, and spending time with his beloved dogs Abbie and Oliver. He was always ready for the next adventure, embodying a spirit of curiosity and exploration.
In his professional life, Jeff worked as an accountant for McDonald's for 25 years before retiring in 2020 from Palo Alto. Together with Amy, he opened 303 Coffee Co. in Centennial, Colorado, in 2004. Jeff found immense joy in interacting with customers and remained a constant presence behind the coffee bar, engaging with customers and fostering a sense of community.
Jeff and Amy's love story began while they were attending North Central College, leading to a beautiful marriage in 1980 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elmhurst, Illinois. Their enduring bond was a testament to the strength of their love and partnership.
Aside from his professional and personal pursuits, Jeff attended York High School where he was a member of both the 1972 and 1973 cross-country state championships. His dedication and commitment were evident in every aspect of his life.
He is preceded in death by his sister Donna, and brothers in law Greg Yanta and Bert Bestor. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Amy Klemann, their children Amanda (Andrew) Mrkvicka, Eric, and Nate, and his grandchildren Alyssa, Olivia, and Jacob. Jeff is also survived by his parents, Jeanne and Howard Klemann, and his siblings Sandie Bestor, Debbie Yanta, and David (Mary Lou) Klemann.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jeff's life will be held at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery - Chapel Hill on South Colorado Boulevard in Centennial, CO, on June 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Safe Harbor Lab Rescue in Jeff's memory.
The family of Jeff would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare workers at Skyridge Medical Center, Life Care Center of Stonegate, Denver Physical Therapy, Family Tree Care, Prime Transport, Lucia Grisez and all those who supported Jeff and his family during this challenging time. Jeff's legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he created during his remarkable life.
