Joann Marice (Henriksen) Weaver

Joann Marice (Henriksen) Weaver, age 78, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was born February 20, 1940 in Salida, Colorado to Maurice Eugene Henriksen and Georgia “Lillian” Stevenson Henriksen.

Joann graduated from West High School in Denver in 1958. She loved her family, bingo, music, and especially Elvis. Joann never stopped dreaming and she will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Joann is preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, John Laskey and Maurice Henriksen.

Those left to cherish her memory include Joann's four children, Cheryl Thomas, Pauline Balster, Colleen Norris, and Maurice Weaver; her eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and her sister, Patricia Faller.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, Colorado 80121. Visitation will occur two hours prior. Joann will be laid to rest at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery at 3:00 pm the same day.
