John Rutherford Creelman

John was born December 18,1961 in Calgary, Alberta Canada. He grew up in Canada, Connecticut, and London England. He graduated high school from the American School of London in 1979. He attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1981-1985 working on a Chemical engineering degree. John took time off from school to work for Mobil oil in Oklahoma where he met his wife Jamie. Jamie and John were married in Denver, Colorado on January 2, 1988. They celebrated 34 years of marriage this year. He later changed his career goal to pursue his dream as a professional golfer and earned his bachelors degree in Business with an emphasis in Professional Golf Management from New Mexico State University in 1995. The one thing John was most proud of was his daughter, Brittany, who was born to them on July 25, 1996. Brittany was the pride and joy of John’s life. John worked for years in the golf and business industry until his health would no longer allow him to do so.

John was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed golf, skiing, mountain biking, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be greatly missed as he was a loving, caring, and thoughtful husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Creelman and his daughter, Brittany Creelman.
