It is so hard to describe June.  She kept a diary of the weather and would share with us.  We had a good time bowling together.  She was wonderful.  She will be missed.  I thank God for June.

I was very lucky to bowl with June for many, many years.  She always had such great insight.  She will always have a place in my heart.

I'm sorry for your lost but there is a Scriptures in(1 Cor 13:13

This is my Mom, Betty's, very special girlfriend, June.  She is one of those ladies that they don't make any more.  Small town Dakota people.  Perhaps you know the type.  (I sure hope you know the type,) Just like the Betty and Alan set, she and her husband, Don, sat in the same row of the pew in church every Sunday.  They never missed. They each served cheerfully.  They did newsletter with the "ladies" for years. (I love the ladies - they were Betty's "small group before "small groups" were a thing and they raised up their adult son together in Women of Spirit, Pastor Scott for 19 years!  Oh, how they loved Pastor Scott! :) And the ladies, well,they all came to my wedding.)  It was my great honor to sit in with them at newsletter and go to lunch whenever I could.  They had a system, and everyone had a job.  June was in charge of newsletter, I think, but Marlene was in charge of where we went for lunch after!  ;) - (And I know I am in trouble if I got that part wrong!!)  They are such respectable, honorable people.  They played bridge. They are the only people I know who played bridge. I love June and Don. When I was in my twenty-somethings, and housesitting for my parents, I asked June if I could sit with her at a Lenten service one Wednesday because I didn't want to sit by myself and because I always thought that she and Don, and Betty and Alan were the same kind of husband and wife "set."  She just quietly smiled and said, "Sure."  We shared many a post church brunch when we came to town with Betty and Alan, June and Don, Vance and Marlene, and John and Amy at The Littleton Marie Callenders.  Today, the tear's flow and It breaks my heart that the set is broken up. Yay for June!  A lovely, lovely lady! All our love and support to Don and each one of you, her family.  We are sorry we are not able to get Betty down from Frederick to be there with you.  She wishes she could be with you, too.  We have been praying for you ever since we heard.
