L Anne McDade Barrett

L Anne McDade Barrett, age 94, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Anne was born March 21, 1929, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Francis William "Mac" McDade and Lola Ladine Hatten McDade. Anne graduated from Leavenworth High School in the year 1947.

Anne moved to California in 1969 and began her career in business forms design and sales with Control Data Corporation in San Diego in 1972. She moved to Edina, Minnesota to subsequently work for The Standard Registry Company, then transferred back to the San Diego branch of the company where she became the second female to achieve a District Manager position for Standard Registry. In 1989, she opened her own printing, warehousing, and forms management company, McForms Unlimited, serving many financial institutions in San Diego County. She sold her company and retired in the year 1995.

Anne was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

(NSDAR), a former member of The Charter 100 of San Diego, and served on the Board of Directors for North County, California Credit Union.

Anne was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Richard Keith Barrett, in 2018.

Survivors include two sons: Keith Robert Fevurly, Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Chris Donald Fevurly, Lawrence, Kansas; and a daughter, Carol Susan (Fevurly) Cleek, also of Lawrence, Kansas. She was also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
