

Lisa was born in Bloomfield, N.M. August 3, 1955 to Edwin Lee Cody and Maggie Jane (Price) Cody. 5th of 6 children. Her parents divorced a few years later and remarried and Lisa gained 3 step sisters and 2 step brothers.
In 1974 Lisa gave birth to her only child, Rebecca Ann Cody with Dennis Roundtree.
1976 she married Gordon Strong and lived all over the Western United States. They later ended their marriage and she met and married John Schick. During these years Lisa grew in her artistic talents as a florist and spent majority of her life creating beautiful works of art.
In 1995 her first granddaughter, Lisha, was born and she flourished as a grandmother. She was ecstatic in 2000 when she was blessed with a second granddaughter, Salem, and couldn't get enough of her new role.
In 2010 she and John divorced and her all girl tribe moved to Aurora, Co where she was near many of her other siblings as well as many nieces and nephews. There she met Bob Jarvis, with whom she has spent the last 15 years sharing life and love with.
2018 Lisa was blessed again to now see a new generation and be a major part of her great- grand daughter's life, Rain.
Lisa has been a best friend, confidant, go- to, die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, mother, grand mother and great grandmother. Aunt, sister and golden heart in all our lives. She made hearts soar and was loved by many. The absolute world for Bob, Becky, Lisha, Salem and Rain. Irreplaceable. And we are all the lucky ones to have gotten to have her in our lives.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 15 years, Bob Jarvis; daughter Rebecca Strong; granddaughters Lisha Smith and Salem Smith; great granddaughter Rain Sovel; step-sisters Debbie Homer, Sue La Crue and Shirley Murphy and many loved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edwin Cody and Maggie Jane Beatty; siblings Durwin Cody, Nedra Cody, Eddie Cody, Dennis Cody and Blane Cody; step brothers David Perry and Steve Perry.
A memorial service for Lisa will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM followed by a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
