It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lori Lynn Longfellow, who left us on July 20, 2025, just a few days before her 53rd birthday. Lori was born at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont, TX, and her family moved to Colorado in April of 1973, where she made the Greater Metro Denver area her home for the next 52 years. Lori was a dedicated and passionate individual. She attended Patterson Elementary School, Carmedy Junior High, and graduated from Bear Creek High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from Colorado State University, where she proudly served as an active member of the Chi Omega Sorority.
Her professional journey took her through various roles in the service industry, but her happiest moments were spent working in the golf industry. Additionally, she shared her vibrant spirit operating a Starbucks at Steadman Hawkins Athletic Hospital, but above all, she was a loving mother and her children meant everything to her.
Lori is survived by her two beloved children, Ashley and Forrest Longfellow; her parents, Jim and Marica Taylor; her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Mark Holloway, her adopted brother, Kien Li, and her niece and nephew, Hope and Hunter Holloway. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Capt. Harry Taylor.
A service and interment of her ashes will take place at Olinger Mount Lindo Cemetery, located at 5928 South Turkey Creek, Morrison, CO, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at noon.
Lori will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
