

Mary Louise Kelly Miller was born on September 10, 1922 in Goldfield, Iowa to Dr. and Mrs. Frederick H. Kelly. She graduated from Goldfield High School and went to Colorado where she graduated from business school in 1943. She met Ross Miller at the University of Colorado. After they both graduated, Ross went directly into World War 2 while Mary Lou and her close friend/roommate from Colorado University went to California where they worked and volunteered for the Red Cross. In 1945 they returned to Denver where Mary Lou worked as secretary to the division attorney for A.T. & T. When Ross returned from World War 2 he moved to Austin, Texas. He and Mary Lou were married on June 7, 1947 and returned to Texas. After Ross finished graduate school they moved to Houston, Texas where they lived for ten years. They eventually moved back to Colorado in 1957 and lived in Littleton for 16 years. From there they moved to Cherry Knolls, which is now Centennial. Mary Lou is survived by 3 children: Scott and wife, Ginger of Denver. Their children: Kelly and husband, Bryan Webb. Lyle and Amy Miller and their 3 children of Englewood, Colorado. Anne and her husband, David Westcott along with their two sons; Drew and Spencer, all of Northern California. Fred and wife, Connie and their three children; Julie and husband, David Depres; Mark, & Sara.
Mary Lou and Ross were active in the Littleton Presbyterian Church until they moved to Cherry Knolls, where they transferred to Grace Presbyterian Church.
