Born on February 4, 1955, in Littleton, Colorado, Michelle’s life was defined by her kindness, devotion to those around her, and passion for education. She earned a Master of Arts in Education and dedicated her career to teaching, shaping young minds as a first-grade teacher at Runyon Elementary School. She always went the extra mile for her students, fostering a love for learning to ensure each child felt valued.
Michelle was most joyful when she was surrounded by her family and friends. She was a loving and proud mother to three boys, and “Nana” to two grandsons, who brought her endless love and laughter. She shared a very special bond with her nieces, whom she considered the daughters she never had.
Beyond her professional and family life, Michelle had an eye for interior design and loved transforming her home into a warm, comforting, and inviting space to entertain. She enjoyed reading, spending time with dear friends, and always put her heart into everything she did.
Michelle is survived by her sons, Ryan Jordan (Lindsay), Landon Jordan, and Tyler Jordan (Elisa); as well as her two beloved grandsons, Grady and Reilly. She also leaves behind her sister, Denise Lucero (Ken), nephew Chad Lucero, and nieces Katie Jorgensen, Jaime Wildenberg, Heather Brandhorst, and Kori Brandhorst. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lois Brandhorst, and her brother, Craig Brandhorst.
She is deeply missed but is now at peace with God. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Parish, 6853 S. Prince St., Littleton, CO 80120, followed by a reception. The inurnment service will take place at 2:30 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121.
