She is survived by her two children Rick: (wife Audrey) & Serena (husband Dave), seven grandchildren: Michelle, Tonya (husband John), Jennifer (husband Mark), Jason, Koren, Michelle (husband Brent), and Jeremy (wife Melissa), sixteen great-grandchildren: Yasmin, Taylor, Justin, Zane, Cooper, Sabrina, Sander, Carmen, Keaton, Matt, Dylan, AJ, Ronan, Kaytlyn, Kailey, & Alexis, and three great-great grandchildren: Molly, Logan, and Emma. She is also survived by her sister, Carol, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Lucy & Oscar, husbands: Gus Monson & Frank Batzer, siblings: Howard, Rosie, Nora, Daryl, and many other precious loved ones.
Millie adored Big Band music from the 40’s and loved to sing and dance. She was vivacious, loved life and considered herself contemporary – always “Thoroughly Modern Millie”!
Please join us in celebrating her life on Tuesday April 26th at 2:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary in Centennial, CO, followed by a reception at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, also in Centennial, CO. Please wear bright colors, as she loved them – to celebrate, and not mourn her.
