Nicholas Louis Machos

Nicholas Louis Machos, age 95, of Morrison, Colorado passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. Nicholas was born November 27, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri to Eugenia (Budula) and Louis Machos, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Sibyl Henrietta (Vandermaiden) Machos; and his sisters, Faye Machos, Anne Machos and Helen Machos. Nicholas is survived by his sons, Lou (Karen) Machos of San Juan Capistrano, CA and Tom Machos of Anaheim, CA; his daughters, Sibyl Newton of Castle Pines, CO and Lisa Machos of Morrison, CO; his grandchildren, Cara Machos of San Juan Capistrano, CA, Alexis Newton of Denver, CO, Mason Newton of New York, NY, Natalie (Matteo) Florio of Grand Rapids, MI and Nicholas DeVries of Taiwan; his great-grandson, Gavin Florio of Grand Rapids, MI; his niece, Kathy (Gary) Koehn of Colorado Springs, CO; his great-nephew, David Koehn of Charlottesville, VA; his great-niece, Danielle Koehn of Boulder, CO; and other loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service for Nicholas will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 8, 2019 at Assumption of the Theotokos Metropolis Cathedral of Denver, 4610 E Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80246. A Committal Service will occur Friday, February 8, 2019 beginning at 1:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
