Pauline Anne Loeffler, age 87, was received into the Kingdom of God, December 25, 2014. She was born February 2, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Oscar and Winifred Loeffler, and joined a family of three sisters and two brothers.
Polly, as she was known to family and friends, was a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. After relocating to Colorado, she spent her career with the Adams County Schools as a special education instructor.
Polly was a member of Denver Wesleyan Church and sang with teh Evangelical Fellowship of Denver. She is remembered for her often requested solo redition of "The Stranger of Galilee." She sang at many weddings and special occasions.
Polly lived in various part of the Denver metro area over the years, including Thornton, Denver, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge and Centennial. She was preceded in death by her siblings and is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A scattering of ashes and a memorial service will be held at Olinger Mount Lindo in the spring. Contact Gale Loeffler to be notified of the date and time.
