Ralph Royden Gillette

Ralph Royden Gillette, age 88 died peacefully in his home in Littleton, CO on February 18, 2023. He had retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service. After his Air Force career which he was most proud of, he was gainfully employed by Coors Brewing Company, working 21 years then retiring in 1997. The years afterward he enjoyed home life with his wife, kids and grandkids. He was especially happy on Sundays as he regularly hosted Sunday dinners for family and friends, but anyone was welcome.

His legacy is probably most known in his willingness to make everyone feel welcomed, he was everyone’s best neighbor, helping always where he could, he was a father figure to all, and especially made so many feel like family. He loved tinkering usually did all his own home repairs and remodeling when needed. He loved people and was very outward in his reach to so many.

He is survived by his wife Mary Edwina (Eddie) Gillette, his daughters Bonnie and Yolanda, his sons Tim & Alan, their spouses, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at Light of the World, Roman Catholic Church, 10316 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80127. There will be a viewing at 10:00am, Rosary at 10:30am, Funeral Mass at 11:00am and reception immediately following at the Church Hall.
