Growing up in the mountains gave Rhonda her love of nature and all the animals that would show up at the windows and in the yard. She specifically loved flowers and birds. Rhonda was an only child, and she enjoyed working in the greenhouse with her mother, when she was a teenager.
Rhonda was raised Lutheran, and on May 18, 1975, she was confirmed in the Evergreen Lutheran Church. She graduated from Evergreen High School in 1979.
On June 21, 1981, she married Wayne Lee, and they were blessed to have a son, Dean Albert Lee who was born February 15,1990.
In 1995, Rhonda moved in with her Aunt Joyce Meinecke in Lakewood, CO.
Rhonda attended Emily Griffith School and was proud to have received her Florist Certificate. After that, she worked for Vel De Camps.
Rhonda enjoyed the many weekends that she spent with Kristie and Bob Kovach and Dean. Some of her favorite times with them were summer fishing trips and camping. She was also very artistic and loved to do needle crafts as well as flower arranging.
In July 2024, due to her declining health, she was moved to The Heights Post Acute Long-Term Care Center, where she was taken care of by a group of skilled nurses who noted that she was such a friendly patient, and that they will miss her sweet nature.
Rhonda's health started to suddenly decline and on January 4, 2025, in the early morning, she passed away peacefully.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Jo Nack.
Rhonda is survived by her son, Dean Lee, Aunt Joyce (Nack) Meinecke, Uncle Leslie Nack (Norma), Aunt Janette (Nack) Fairley, Aunt Judy (Nack) Graham (Gary), as well as multiple cousins, Michele, Kristie, Tracy, Lori, Janelle, Dale, Jim, Jason, Eve and Lisa.
