Ronald Kensli, 75, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Denver. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on February 8, 1950, Ron was a rugged individualist and thoughtful intellectual who loved skiing, dogs, and the holidays.
A gifted craftsman, Ron could make anything with his woodworking skills, creating pieces as enduring as his character. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara; his son, Jed (Stacy); Paul (Mallory), who was like a son to him, and their children; and his sister, Laura.
Ron’s independent spirit, warmth, and generosity touched all who knew him. A private celebration of life will be held in October with more details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter in his honor.
