

Born in 1942, Ruth Ann was baptized and then later confirmed in her faith at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waco, Nebraska, where her spiritual journey began. She pursued a higher education at the Lincoln School of Commerce, earning an Associates degree in Business. Her professional life included roles as a secretary and a buyer’s assistant at Hovland-Swanson in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she worked for four years before focusing on her role as a mother.
In 1982, Ruth Ann and her family relocated to Colorado, where she continued her career as a personal assistant and bookkeeper for Daryl at ADK Architects. Her career took a new direction when she worked as a house cleaner for Merry Maids and later established her own in-home daycare. She poured her heart into caring for the small children who were entrusted to her, forming lasting bonds with the families she served.
Ruth Ann was married to Albert Daryl Klone on August 31, 1963 at her childhood church in Waco, Nebraska. Together, they had a daughter, Michelle and two sons, Mark and Matthew and were blessed with six adoring grandchildren. Ruth Ann’s life was a testament to her unwavering love for her family. In 2011, they moved from their Littleton, Colorado home to a small acreage in Parker, Colorado. In retirement, Ruth Ann embraced the joys of gardening, playing cards, bird and deer watching from their back deck. Ruth Ann was a devoted Nebraska Cornhusker Football and Denver Broncos fan, a passion that always brought joy and camaraderie.
At the time of her passing, Ruth Ann was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Centennial, Colorado. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and her church community provided her with strength and solace.
A viewing will be held at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery-Chapel Hill in Centennial, CO on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 6:00-7:30pm. A memorial service will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Centennial, CO on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11:00 am. Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Daryl Klone; her daughter Michelle Klone Braun, son-in-law Allan Braun, her son Mark Klone, daughter-in-law Linda Klone, her son Matthew Klone, daughter-in-law Julie Klone; and her six beloved grandchildren Garett and Grant Klone, Taylor and Meagan Braun, and Zachary & Abigail Klone; her brothers, Larry Hoffschneider, sister-in-law Nancy Hoffschneider, her brother Ned Hoffschneider and sister-in-law Sue Hoffschneider, nephews, nieces and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister-in-law Vicki Hoffschneider; brother-in-law Phillip Klone, sister-in-law Minnie Ann Klone, niece Tammy Klone and grand-daughter Alex Braun.
Ruth will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to her family, and her vibrant spirit. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
