

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 1 PM on July 19th, 2025, at Olinger Chapel Hill. Olinger Chapel Hill is located at 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
Tacoma was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on November 14th, 1976, followed by a move to Orlando, Florida, where she spent her early years surrounded by family and loved ones. She later moved to Deltona, Florida, where she excelled in academics and athletics and forged many long-term friendships. Tacoma graduated from Deltona High School in 1995 and remained in the Orlando area for several years. In early 2000, a road trip led to a 25-year residency in Colorado, beginning in Colorado Springs. There, she met Luke Richter, and they welcomed their son, Kaden Richter, in 2002. The family relocated in 2013, spending the next 12 years in Littleton and Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Tacoma dedicated a significant portion of her adult life to supporting others as an aide in teaching and home service settings. Later, she transitioned into the dental field as a lab technician. Throughout her life, Tacoma cultivated a vibrant balance of work, fun, family, and friends, enjoying backyard barbecues, travel, and participating in pool leagues as an APA representative.
She was known for her unforgettable first impressions and a personality that resonated with those she met. Her boisterous laugh, radiant smile, and willingness to engage with and assist others touched countless lives. Tacoma's kindness and undeniable social presence deeply impacted many, and she will be missed beyond words.
Tacoma is survived by; her son, Kaden Richter; her husband, Luke Richter; her parents, Deborah Ann Ward and Charles Watts; her brother, Tobias Ward; numerous cherished cousins and in-laws; and her beloved fluffy dogs, Jit and Little One. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, "Gran" Harris.
