Timothy James Higginbotham

From an early age Tim showed unique skills. His life was spent building… first relationships within his family and friends, then a family with Amy (Griffin Higginbotham Banovich) They had two sons, Timothy and Kurtis. Tim built beautiful homes throughout Colorado and Montana. He changed careers and built a courier service to sustain him through the last years of his life. Tim never hesitated to help when asked. He died suddenly on January 28, 2026, at the age of sixty-three in Englewood, CO.

Tim is survived by his children, his father Robert, and his siblings Robert (Peggy), Michael (Michelle), Patricia, Thomas (Laurie), Mary (Mark), Kenneth (Felicia), Daniel, Steven (Vicki), Margaret (David), and Jennifer; and over twenty nieces and nephews. Tim will be greatly missed.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother Edna (Ahern) Higginbotham, brother-in-law Robert Hermelink, and niece Kelly Higginbotham.

A Viewing/Wake will take place at 7pm on Thursday February 19 at Olinger Chapel Hill 6601 S Colorado Blvd. Centennial, CO 8012.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 20 at St Thomas More Catholic Church 8035 S Quebec St., Englewood, CO 80112.

The Internment ceremony will take place at on February 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S Colorado Blvd. Centennial, CO 8012.
