Tyler Vasey Thompson, age 34, passed away August 7th at his home in Denver, Colorado. Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, Tyler grew up for many years in Clinton, New Jersey and enjoyed being with friends more than anything else.
Late in 2017, Tyler moved to Colorado to join a company he admired and had approached about work opportunities. They hired him as a customer service representative, and he was promoted. He enjoyed meeting people and solving problems. He also enjoyed traveling and made trips in recent years to England, Germany and Japan with friends.
Tyler was fond of anime, electronic music, the New York Rangers, South Park, computer gaming, Cypherpunk’s Manifesto, and his faithful dog, Lucy.
He was loved as a son and is survived by his parents, Terence and Carol Thompson of Millersville, Pennsylvania.
Tyler was funny and smart. While neither realistic nor conventional, he was creative, artistic and social. Tyler “the Ty Guy” was a gentle soul at heart. Valued as an employee and as a friend by many, he will be missed. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that a donation be made to Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue or your favorite local animal shelter in his name.
