Supervisor, Electric Meter Department at Public Service Company of Colorado
Wilbur passed away peacefully on September 4, 2012 at the age of 93 following a sudden stroke. He was comforted being surrounded by his loving family and friends arriving from Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Keystone, and Strasburg, as well as the Centennial area. Throughout his life, Wilbur upheld the greatest love for his wife and family, promoting it through togetherness, honesty, integrity, and an abundance of humor and good-natured fun.
His favorite activities included charter member of the Kilowatt Eights Square Dance Club, still dancing at nearly 91 on the Club's 70th Anniversary; the Rocky Mountain Oldsmobile Club where he was a proud owner of award winning 1938 and 1980 Oldsmobiles; and Scout Master in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a 65 year member and 3rd degree Mason.
Survivors include his loving wife, Irma of 64 years of devoted marriage; beloved sons Calvin (wife, Sharon and grandson, Colton) and Rick (partner, Phil Thomsen); and dear cousins and extended family members.
