Frances was a life-long resident of Chester having attended Chester Grammar School and Valley Regional High School. She was employed for many years at the former M. S. Brooks and Sons in Chester. Frances lived most of her life in the family home on Liberty Street and in her later years in the Goose Hill home of her sister, Geraldine.
Frances was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 97 and an active member of Saint Joseph Church in Chester. She elicited a love from all with her positive attitude and beautiful smile. She possessed a unique wit and wonderful sense of humor. Frances also shared a special love for cats with her friend, Jane.
The family wishes to express gratitude for the wonderful care of her live-in caregiver, Kisha of The Key - Companions and Homemakers, Linda, Zofia and their other caregivers.
Frances is survived by her sister, Geraldine Carini-Garcia and her brother, Monsignor James P. Carini of Chester, the six Doak cousins and their families and numerous other cousins and her dear Goose Hill neighbors, Pete and Jane Zanardi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated following at 11:00AM at Saint Joseph Church, 48 Middlesex Avenue in Chester and her burial taking place in the Carini family plot in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
