

Kevin B. Fox, just shy of 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025, with two good friends by his side. He missed his 80th birthday party by 4 days! Born on December 19, 1945 in Manchester, NH, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Shirley Kamenske Fox. Kevin served in the army reserve in the late 1960’s and completed his 6 years earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was one of the co-founders of the Jewish War Veteran Post 51 in Connecticut and proudly served as the Post Commander. Kevin earned a Bachelors Degree from Babson College in 1968. Kevin’s career took him from owning an Audio-Visual business to being a financial consultant.
When Kevin moved to Connecticut in the mid-1970’s he jumped on the UConn Basketball Fan bandwagon and has been a huge fan since….both men’s and women’s. He was also a huge fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox….a true New Englander. Kevin loved a good game of golf…either playing himself or watching on TV. He loved all animals, especially cows, dogs and of course, foxes.
Kevin was a proud congregant at Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek since 2002 . He served in many capacities including Treasurer, Member of Executive Board, Master Griller at the annual temple BBQ and Gabbi at High Holiday services.
Kevin is survived by his brothers Donald Hoffman of New Jersey and Harvey Hoffman of Colorado. He is predeceased by brothers Norman and Gary Lee Fox and his stepmother Adele Fox. Kevin leaves behind his cousin, Sandra Shaul, niece, Marla Hoffman, and grandnephew, Leo Silverman, along with his best friends, Laura Roman, Henry Resnikoff, Ali Rosenblum, Sandy Seidman, Wendy Bayor and many, many more.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 11:00, Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek, 55 East Kings Highway, Chester, CT. Burial will follow the services at Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River. Shiva will be held on Thursday evening at 6:30 at Congregation Beth Shalom.
