Steve S. Lee

Steve Sechang Lee 58 of Middletown, CT tragically passed away on October 12, 2023 in a motorcycle accident. Steve and his family moved to the United States from South Korea when he was 7. He grew up in Point Pleasant on the New Jersey shoreline. He graduated from Point Pleasant Borough High School in 1984. He then attended Seton Hall. In 1992 he joined the U.S. Navy where he became a Hospital Corpsman and then an Advanced Radiology Technician. He served on the USS Seattle (AOE 3). He was then stationed at the Sub Base in Groton, CT where he met his wife Michele. Steve was a wonderful cook and would make a meal for anyone who asked him. We enjoyed many delicious meals as a family. Steve enjoyed spending time with his wife and two children. He especially loved being a dad. Teaching his children everything he could. He most enjoyed playing with Tristan and Ava at the beach in the summer. Steve was a great jokester and had a great sense of humor. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle as much as possible. He couldn’t wait for winter to end. He is survived by his loving wife Michele, his son Tristan and daughter Ava, his mother Kay Lee, his sister Barbara Martino and her husband Enzo and their children Anthony and Vincent and his sister in law April Jacobson and her children Riley, Kaitlyn, Mathew and Emmitt and many other family members and good friends.
