

Carrie L. Bruno of Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1963, in Mineola, NY, and lived a life defined by love, generosity, and an unshakable devotion to her family.
Carrie was the beloved wife of 32 years to Matthew, with whom she shared countless adventures and a deep, enduring bond. She was the loving mother of Alexis Bruno and her fiancé, Tristan Judd, and of Matthew Bruno. Carrie was also the cherished sister of Kyle Quenneville.
A dedicated registered dietician, Carrie retired on November 7, 2025, after 29 years of service—years marked by compassion, expertise, and a commitment to helping others lead healthier lives.
Carrie embraced life with joy. She loved yoga, walking, and hiking, and she and Matthew twice traveled across the country to visit and explore many of the nation’s beautiful National Parks. She treasured holidays and delighted in hosting family gatherings, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of her homemade recipes. She was an enthusiastic cook and baker—known especially for her banana bread and her chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal cookies. Among her many specialties, her perfected chicken cacciatore recipe was always a crowd favorite.
Above all else, Carrie loved her family deeply and wholeheartedly. Her kindness, energy, and vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
A visitation for Carrie will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, 10am at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 315 Lake Shore Road, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. Cremation will be private.
Carrie’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her loved ones, and she will be forever missed.
