Domenico Palmiotto

Domenico Palmiotto was born in Bari, Italy on May 22, 1921 to Guiseppe and Sarafina Palmiotto. In search of the American Dream, Domenico's family came to the United States. He married his lovely wife Margaret in 1955 and they enjoyed a wonderful life together for 45 plus years until she predeceased him in September of 2001. Domenico loved working with his hands which led him to his chosen career as a skilled Mason. With his loving dog Cosmo, Domenico enjoyed many activities. He loved gardening and growing vegetables which he often shared with his wonderful neighbors. Domenico was often seen riding his bike around town. He touched many lives and will be missed by many.

Domenico is survived by his devoted daughters Sandy Fusco and her husband Tony, Mary Lindner and her husband David and Vicki Stagno and her husband Tom. His cherished grandchildren Joseph, Andrew and Katy. His loving brother Frank and loving sister Giovanna.

Domenico's family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 9:30 A.M. on Saturday January 7, 2012 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church in Centereach. His interment will follow in Resurrection / St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
