Elena S. Camet

Elena Camet, age 75, of Lake Grove, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Born with a remarkable talent, Elena began her journey as a pianist at the tender age of 2, eventually gracing the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her extraordinary musical prowess was matched only by her deep love for her family and her cherished dog, Chloe. Elena's heart found its truest joy in her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Her days were often filled with the vibrant energy of her favorite television programs, including “The Price is Right,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” and the Telemundo channel.

Elena is survived by her loving children Monica and Tom Doyle and Fabian Chioraia. Cherished Abuelita to Stephanie, Joseph, Alexandra and T.J. Although she didn't get to meet her great-grandchild who is due this October, she will always be looking over the bundle of joy with excitement and love from above.

A visitation for Elena will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Centereach, NY. Following the mass, a private cremation will be conducted.

Elena’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, her legacy a testament to a life filled with passion, love, and grace. She will be remembered for her remarkable contributions to the world of music, her unyielding devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.
