Dear Mama Anim,

 l celebrate you and rejoice that you dug in and finished your work in such an esteemed way.  I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting you, but l saw your hand work through knowing your daughter, Rose. They said that the apple does not fall far from the tree. l believe so,  especially,  after closely watching your daughter’s behaviors.  

A mother of nations, the hard work and sacrifices involved in caring for your brood and those of others never fazed  you. Your heart, as wide as a field was filled with nothing but love. Your were a Christian mother, you taught lessons, comforted, encouraged, supported and uplifted. Even though your own needs might not have been totally met, you opened your heart, loved and gave.  They don’t make it anymore like you, we have lost a true great one! 

I am sure that  you are presently residing at God’s  hand and blossom where you rightly belong. Although l join your family in mourning, I am glad that you are resting in perfect peace. Your memories and legacy will forever live on, for you enshrined the importance of love, hope, humility and humanity in your children.

We will forever miss you, adieus Mama Anim, till we meet again

 Mama is a very caring , charming, charitable, cheerful, captivating and charismatic person  .I met mama for the first time two years ago when I visited her daughter Dr. Rose Anim,   mama welcomed my children and I with open arms , she regaled us with stories of her hey days she took time to advice my children and pray for them, there was no dull time with mama . Mama will be greatly missed ! May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace and may God comfort and grant the family she left behind the fortitude to bear her passing to Glory 

When my sister and your daughter called I had a feeling of a passing but wasn't expecting you to go so soon. If not for the snow I would have been by you chatting and laughing together. Mama I miss you. Even seeing you lying on bed after passing you looking like the beautiful Queen which you are. Some look funny dying, Mama your beauty at death is beyond description sooo beautiful like your heart. I Am glad you're at Peace and reunion with all your loved once, enjoying the celebrations of coming home. Death have not prevented me from chatting and laughing For I feel you more now. Mama you left so peacefully with no one to trouble.  Your children are so proud of you. You're our Angel now. May Christ Light continue to shine on you as your children gets your vibration to shine more now that you're in Heaven. Rest rest in Peace.

You nursed everyone of them from the day they were born until they started crawling. You were there during all birthday celebrations. You made being a working mom ‘Easy peasy lemon squeezy’. My Late Father-in-law hosts my mom in Markurdi Benue state where she was honoured and recognized for her love and support for all. The entire family in Benue showed up with several gifts. Mama left Markurdi with over 100 tubers of yam. You will remain in our hearts forever ❤️❤️🌹

During my father’s funeral. My mom was so strong, because she’s always been a fighter. Dedicated to family, hard work and also making sure she’s shows up for family. You will be missed mama!

I commiserate with your family and I pray for the repose of her dear soul. Eternal rest grant her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.

I would call her “Otofe” and she would respond in her gentle voice “Ogobobi” (that may be spelt wrong but I know it meant something like “favoured in-law”). She had so many stories to tell me and her grandchildren. She would sometimes repeat the stories more than once and my youngest, who still loves stories, would say “Mama, you told us that story earlier” to which she would often respond “you don’t listen so I have to say it often” and then she would laugh out loud at her own wit. She always had a smile for me. It is true that we often do not remember the words people say to us but we always remember how they made us feel. Otofe made me feel special, like another beloved child among her many children. 

I knew Otofe for just over twenty years after I met and married her daughter, Vivian, but somehow I do not remember a time before I met Otofe as the years have just flown by and it seems like she has always been a part of my life. 

Otofe, life has changed it has not ended so we will be reunited in eternity. For now, rest in God’s love. We will miss you. 

Mama Felicia Anim is a mother of Israel who loves 💘 everyone the same!She was a  good woman and God fearing woman . She love to go to church  every Sunday !She will be missed for her  kindness ,love and her smile 😃 ! She was a mother, friend and a sister to me. She love to sing and dancing. May mama soul rest in perfect peace Amen 🙏  My condolences to her family she left behind!
