Joseph R. Donoghue, 82, of Centereach, passed away on January 22, 2021. Proud Army veteran and retired firefighter from the New York City Fire Department, Engine 295. Survived by his loving wife, Katherine. Cherished father to Linda Schuchman, John (Teresa) and the late Joseph (Pamela Jones). Beloved grandfather to Shannon, Caseymay, Michael, Kelly and Joseph #3. Loving great-grandfather to Isabella, Giovanni, Christopher and Lydia Rae. Visitation will be held at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720 on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church. Private Cremation to follow.
