Chad Tyler

Chad was born on January 12, 1985, in Baton Rouge, LA. Chad was known to be talented at everything he put his hands on. He spent many years working in the restaurant industry and in property management, but he was especially gifted and passionate as a musician, songwriter, and poet. He was a one-of-a-kind soul that was loved by all that knew him.

He passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the age of 39.

He is survived by his parents, Attorney John L. Tyler and Kimberly D’Arensbourg Odom, his siblings, Cory Benton Tyler and Alexandra Odom Kennedy, his grandmother, Helen Ellis D’Arensbourg, his aunt, Jill A. Tyler, aunt and uncle, Debbie D’Arensbourg Howze and husband Dennis Howze, and uncle, Douglas D’Arensbourg. He is also survived by numerous loving cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Conrad Joseph D’Arensbourg, grandparents Attorney C. Alvin Tyler and Anne Kennedy Tyler, uncle, Kenneth Mark D’Arensbourg and cousin, Brayden Dwayne Howze. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
