Duane “Scott” Garretson, resident of Central, Louisiana, passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 61. Scott was a hairdresser for over 30 years, most recently at The Gallery Salon. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling with his sons and friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and Papa G. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie Garretson; sons, Brandon Garretson (Megan) and Jacob Garretson (Colleen); brother, Troy Garretson, Jr. and grandchildren, Sophia Garretson, Gavin Garretson and Luke Garretson who is expected shortly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Garretson, Sr. and Margie Garretson. A memorial gathering will be held at Central Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Central Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
