Isabelle “Kay” Swearingen, age 78, passed away on April 26, 2025. She was born in Portland, Oregon and was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kay was a beloved mother of four children. She maintained her catholic faith in which she was raised and passed her Christian faith to her children. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her striking blue eyes and pretty smile could brighten up a room. In Kay’s younger years she had a passion to work hard and run her own business. She always enjoyed playing cards with anyone who would and sipping on hot coffee or a cold root beer. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and she will be greatly missed.
Kay is survived by daughters, Kathryn (Beth) Boe and husband Mike Boe; Rhonda (Missy) Johnson and husband Robert (Tookie) Johnson; and Brenda Scofield; son, Johnny (John) Swearingen and wife Misty Swearingen; grandchildren, April Boe; Brook Pinson; Mark (Bobby) Johnson; Johnny Johnson; Kylin Swearingen; Perry Scofield; and Ethan Swearingen as well as 3 great grandchildren.
