Patsy Carolyn Chambers Dufour

Patsy Carolyn Chambers Dufour, age 86, passed away August 28, 2024 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born in Big Spring, TX and was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Pallas Dufour Dunn of Port Allen, LA; son, Clifton Edgar Dufour (Lisa Johnson Dufour) of Baton Rouge, LA; grandsons, Jordan Ellis Dedon (Maria Flores Dedon) of Walker, LA and Hunter Darrys Dufour (Christine Catalinotto Dufour) of Addis, LA, as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edgar and Bonnie Jo Kilpatrick Chambers; in-laws, Clarence Clifton and Maggie Bankston Dufour; spouse, Thomas Matthews Dufour; son-in-law, Frank Alvin “Beau” Dunn II; sister, Phyllis Marie Chambers Bond and her husband James Bond.

Relatives and friends are invited to the chapel of Istrouma Baptist Church, 10500 Sam Rushing Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Friday, September 6, 2024 for a visitation beginning at 9:00AM until a funeral service at 12:00 NOON. A burial will be held privately at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Ted Verret, David Bankston, Jerry Chenevert, Aubrey Brignac, Keith Schmieder, Trent Hallum, with honorary pallbearers being, Austin Kendrick and Bobby Wales.
