Caroll Louise (Compton) LaGra, Morton, WA passed away with family present at her side on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019. Caroll was born to William (Bill) and Doris Compton in Morton, WA on April 22, 1937. She was a graduate of Morton High School in 1955. Caroll met Darrell LaGra and he became her husband of 64 years. Caroll had a diverse working career in Morton, which included Thrifty Drug Store, Puget Sound Bank, Mitchell Insurance, City of Morton and Starfier Distibuting. Caroll was active with many community volunteer activities and organizations all of her life. Caroll had many interests in art forms and music, from wedding cakes to drawings and painting through piano instruction and congregational music pianist. Caroll had a great love for family and friends with many festive holiday gatherings. Her menus were always tasty with more than plenty for day after snacking. Caroll is survived by husband Darrell, son Rick and daughter Jeannie; grandkids Ramey, Justin, Rochelle and Ginger; great grandkids Jehrel, Linkyn, Sophie, Colton, Billy Jr., Savanna, Jordan, Kacey, Bryson, Nick and Nathan with a new addition coming in April. We would like to thank the caregivers of Heritage House and the staff of Morton General Hospital for the care mom received.
