Clyde Robert Laney, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, at the age of 79. Clyde was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Carol, with whom he shared 46 years of love and companionship.
Clyde was a proud father to his two daughters, Ashley and Angie, and a loving father-in-law to Ashley’s husband, John. His greatest joy was his role as a grandfather to Courtney, Karis, and Angela Batchelor, Hannah, Eve, Lillie, and William Driscoll. Clyde’s warmth, guidance, and playful spirit were a source of happiness and inspiration for his family.
Clyde is also survived by his two dear sisters, Martha Smith and Gail James, who will miss him profoundly.
Clyde was known for his kindness, integrity, and dedication to both his family and community. His legacy of love and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
