Glen "Butch" Daniel Stephens

Glen "Butch" Daniel Stephens, age 76, of West Blocton, Alabama passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. The son of Virgie Ethel Myers Stephens and Carl Houston Stephens, Butch grew up in Mobile, Alabama and West Blocton, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Ann Avaritt. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie Carroll Stephens; daughter, Dinah Deason (Joseph); grandchildren, Andrea Colburn (Ryan), Jimmie Odom (Kris), Sarah Deason (Damian), and Monica Hollie (Dallas); great-grandchildren, McKenzi Colburn, Katelyn Russell, Wyatt Odom, Emily Odom, JJ Vick, Hunter Colburn, Owen Deason, and Oakley Hollie; great-great-grandson, Ryker Colburn; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation for Butch will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042. A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Thrasher Cemetery, Thrasher Road off Bibb County Road 27, Woodstock, Alabama. Bro. Robert Smith will officiate.
