Lori was a native of West Blocton, worked in Palm Beach, FL to pursue her career, and returned back home to West Blocton to continue her work with Bibb County as a lab technologist.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil White and Annie Laura White; son, Scott Taylor; brother, Cecil "Larry" White.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce D. Cook; son, Carl Robert Johnson (Nadine); 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at West Scottsville Community Church on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in West Blocton, AL from 12 pm - 2 pm with a graveside service to follow in the adjoining cemetery at West Scottsville Community Church Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the workers at the hospice in Tuscaloosa, AL for all their love and hard work. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph Indian School in South Dakota.
