Jody Elmore Stone (Paw-Paw), age 79, of Centreville, AL entered into heaven on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Jody was born on January 5, 1942 in River Bend, AL. He was a loving husband, father and Paw-Paw. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Stone, daughters Sandra Burnette (David), Rhonda Stone, sister Alice Nichols (Gerald), Grandchildren, Amanda Mayton (Jimmy), Jodie McCool (Josh), Patrick Burnette, Brody Gibson, Great Grandchildren, Levi McCool, Sadie McCool and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Ricky Joe Stone, his parents, William and Velma Stone, brothers, Joseph, Jimmy, Dee, Jerry, and Roy Stone, sisters Gladys Binion, and Doris Lamb and great grandson Jordan Burnette. Jody loved the Lord, going to church, fishing, playing games with his family, and spending time with his best friend, Mack Langston. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Graveside Service was held on September 2, 2021 @ 11 AM at Schultz Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Schultz Spring Road, West Blocton, AL. Bro. David Lamb and Rev. Allen Foster presiding.
