Margaret (Boggy) Deerman, aged 88 - born December 17, 1935, passed away October 15, 2024 at Bibb County Nursing Home. Margaret graduated West Blocton High School in 19_ _. After graduation she moved to Birmingham to pursue a long career with Bellsouth. After retiring, she returned to Bibb County where she enjoyed fellowship within her community.
Margaret was a member of Centreville First Baptist Church where she took great joy in her Sunday School Class.
Margaret is preceded in death by parents Roscoe and Velma Deerman, six brothers and two sisters.
Margaret lived a life marked by a passion for sports particularly her unwavering support for the University of Alabama.
A visitation service to honor Margaret’s life will be held at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville, AL on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from Noon to 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in West Blocton, AL.
