Margaret Doris Shows

Margaret Doris Shows, age 81 of Lawley, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Shows (Sharon) of Marion; daughters, Patty Breland (Jimmy) of Marion and Ann Bracknell (Tony) of Lawley; brothers, David Yeager of Coker, Thomas Yeager of Marion; sisters Eolise Ingram of Clanton, Retha Smith of Woodstock; grandchildren, Jermey Shows, Zachary Smith, and Leslie Channell (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Brandon Shows, Logan Shows, Hadley Shows, and Rosland Channell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Shows; parents, Frauline and Effie Yeager; brothers, Harold Yeager and James Yeager.

Pallbearers will be Jason Tucker, Richard Yeager, James Stewart, Dwight Mitchell, Buddy George, Billy Wayne George, and Daniel Graves. Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Crawford, Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, and Amy Graves who was the sitter for Margaret and took great care of her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 11 am -12 pm at Pondville Methodist Church. A funeral service will begin at 12 pm with Steven Vernon officiating. Burial will follow at Pondville Cemetery.
