

Frances was an exceptional mother, grandmother, wife, and person to everyone who knew her. She loved traveling, shopping, and most of all she loved her family and any child that was in her presence. She was a member of Pondville Baptist Church for many years. Frances retired from Walmart after 17 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Houston Owens; sister, Virginia Porter; brother, Sonny Owens.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James E. Epperson; son, Greg (Kim) Epperson; grandchildren, Hallie and Ellison Epperson; sisters, Marilyn (Lewis) Howton and Mildred Holmes; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 6pm - 8pm.
Funeral service will be held for Frances on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 10am at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville with burial to follow at Little Hope Cemetery in Bibb County. Service coordinated by David Grissom.
Pallbearers will be as follows: Shawne Porter, Tim Porter, Bryant Holmes, Randall Duncan, Darren Howton, Brian Scott.
Honorary pallbearers as follows: Becky Long, Raymond and Katherine Dockery, Darryl Epperson, James (Hub) and Lois Epperson, James and Nora Windle, Pondville Baptist Church, Hagler Community, Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, Kim and Jason Watson, Sarah White, Mary and James Smith, Evelyn and Dan Bradley.
